A CONTRACT FOR THE DESIGN, PURCHASE, AND INSTALLATION OF A PREFABRICATED HIGHWAY YARD BUILDING
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
CONTRACT: Design and provide an approximately 2,792 square foot building shell only to meet the requirements set forth in the drawing. Second floor indicated on the plans is future development to be built inside of building shell and is not part of this contract. Minor variations of building size that are required by the building type being proposed are acceptable. Bidders will provide the Village with a written proposal to manufacture the building and deliver the building to the Village Highway yard located at 141 Orinoco Drive, Brightwaters, New York 11718, and erect the building at that location.
Drawing and specifications may be examined and obtained at the Village Hall on or after Friday February 10, 2023, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM daily except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.
All Bidders must obtain a set of Contract-Bid Documents. A fee of $50.00 is required for each set of Contract-Bid Documents. Checks are to be made payable to the Inc. Village of Brightwaters. This deposit is non-refundable.
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of $500.00 The Bidder to whom the Village proposes to award the Contract will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds and the necessary insurance certificates as prescribed in the General Conditions and the Supplementary Conditions upon the execution of the Agreement. Bidders are required to execute a non-collusive bidding certification required by Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Once received, the submitted proposals will be publicly opened and read by the Village Clerk. The contract will be awarded as soon thereafter as practicable by the Village Board of Trustees. The winning bid proposal will be notified by the Village Clerk, forthwith upon decision by the Board of Trustees. The Village of Brightwaters will not reimburse any individual or firm for any costs associated with preparation of their proposal statement.
Any Bidder who intended to BID on only the supply or installation of the building, may contact the Village Clerk for a refund of the fee paid for contract-bid documents.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of $500.00 The Bidder to whom the Village proposes to award the Contract will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds and the necessary insurance certificates as prescribed in the General Conditions and the Supplementary Conditions upon the execution of the Agreement. Bidders are required to execute a non-collusive bidding certification required by Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Once received, the submitted proposals will be publicly opened and read by the Village Clerk. The contract will be awarded as soon thereafter as practicable by the Village Board of Trustees. The winning bid proposal will be notified by the Village Clerk, forthwith upon decision by the Board of Trustees. The Village of Brightwaters will not reimburse any individual or firm for any costs associated with preparation of their proposal statement.

CONTRACT A: PURCHASE OF A PREFABRICATED HIGHWAY YARD BUILDING
CONTRACT B: INSTALLATION OF THE PREFABRICATED BUILDING
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
CONTRACT A: Provide an approximate 2,792 square foot building shell only to meet the requirements set forth in the drawing. Prefabricated building to also provide for a future second floor above the office space. Bidders will provide the Village with a written proposal to manufacture the building and deliver the building to the Village Highway yard located at 141 Orinoco Drive, Brightwaters, NY.
CONTRACT B: Bidders will provide the Village with a written proposal to install the building at 141 Orinoco Drive, Brightwaters, NY.
Interested bidders may provide proposals for either Contract A or Contract B or both combined.
Drawing and specifications may be examined and obtained at the Village Hall on or after Tuesday January 24, 2023, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM daily except Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.
All Bidders must obtain a set of Contract-Bid Documents. A fee of $50.00 is required for each set of Contract-Bid Documents. Checks are to be made payable to the Inc. Village of Brightwaters. This deposit is non-refundable.
