BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
Monday, August 22, 2016 @ 7:30PM
- Mayor Joseph McDermott calls the meeting to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance
- Adopt Resolution 12-2016 Road Resurfacing Project 2016 Phase 2 to pave additional roads with the funding from the $1.4M bond issue.
- Approve Outdoor Public Assembly Application by Brightwaters resident for the Knuckleman Race on September 10th.
- Appoint Kaitlin Branigan and Ian Luquer as Lifeguards at a rate of $9.25 per hour.
- Approval to order 125 cases of Fall leaf bags at a cost of $ 3,287.50 ($90 less than last year).
- Updates on the following projects: road paving, canal restoration, downtown revitalization, Southern Pine Beetle Recovery grant
- Other topics as needed, including:
- Reducing mooring rates as of August 1 for remainder of summer
- Keeping Walker open past Labor day: usage was low last year
- Maintaining $25 per troop for cabin usage
- Offer memorial benches at Gilbert – pricing approximately $1,000 for a 6 foot bench set in cement with a plaque
