BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
Monday, February 22, 2016 @ 7:30PM

  • Mayor Joseph McDermott calls the meeting to order followed by the Pledge of Allegiance
  • Presentation by committee interested in raising funds for new playground equipment at Walker beach.
  • Adopt Resolution indicating the amount of time between when a road is paved and when a utility company can excavate said road, except for emergencies.
  • Permission to engage the services of Village Engineer Daniel Falasco to assist with specifications and inspections of 59 Orinoco Drive for a cost not to exceed $2,500 which will be covered by the building permit fees.
  • Permission to enter into a contract with Govpay.net and for Mayor to sign same to accept credit cards for Property Tax payments and other Village fees with the service fees to be paid by the cardholder. No cost to the Village.
  • Permission to solicit bids for garbage pickup throughout the Village. Effective date of the contract would be June 1, 2016.
  • Permission to enter an agreement with AFLAC to establish a Section 125 cafeteria plan to offer additional insurance coverage to the employees at no expense to the Village.
  • Permission to purchase 3 tables, 6 stacking chairs and a New York State flag for the Courtroom at a cost of $1,378.88. $1,200 will be funded by the Justice Court Administration grant.
  • Permission to contract with Quality Shredding to hold a shredding event on Saturday, April 30th from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Wohseepee Cabin at a cost of $135 per hour with no charge to residents.
  • Permission to offer an amnesty period of 30 days for Building Permits renewals fees when only paperwork is required to close the permit.
  • Permission to contract with Skinnon & Faber, CPAs to perform the 2015-2016 audit and filing of State AUD report at a cost not to exceed $12,400.
  • Permission to surplus 7 vertical file cabinets formerly used for building department documents which have now been assembled for scanning.
  • Convene Board of Assessment Review to approve/deny grievance applications
