 ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Inc. Village of Brightwaters will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 7:30pm at Village Hall, 40 Seneca Drive, Brightwaters, New York 11718, to consider the following application for variance relief:
 
Reede Gurcan, 450 Peters Blvd., Brightwaters, NY 11718, seeks permission to install a fence on a corner lot in violation of Village Code Section 128-26 A(3), which requires that a fence be set back a minimum of 15 feet from a side street property line and must return to the rear corner of the house, Applicant is proposing a fence be located to the front corner of the house and within the required 15 foot setback from the side street.
 
Matthew Moley, 303 Plymouth Avenue, Brightwaters, NY 11718, seeks permission to construct one and two story additions in violation of Village Code Section 128-31 B(1), which requires a minimum rear yard setback of 50 ft., Applicant is proposing a rear yard setback of 48 ft.
 
All applicants or their duly authorized representative are required to be at this hearing at the time specified above.  All interested parties are welcome and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
